The Bishop McNamara Mustangs opened their football season against The Landon School Bears after having their first two games cancelled due to weather issues. The game was played at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium as part of a doubleheader classic. The Mustangs, after taking an early lead, dropped 29 unanswered points and lost 29-14.
